The role of PSI in organizing the market is to assist the importers to enter their complied products to the technical regulations and harmonize adopted standards to ensure protection of consumers, and to prepare fair competitive environment in the Palestinian market. PSI assists the importers by issuing all official and important correspondence for concerned parties, and by facilitating the process and procedure of importing products complying with Palestinian requirements.
PSI is aiming to protect the Palestinian consumers by supervising products that need some modifications to make it in conformity with requirements of the Palestinian standard before distributing it in the Palestinian market.
