Palestine Standard Institution issues conformity certificates being the authorized body to grant such certificates. The certificate states that the sample or batch conforms with the technical regulation or related standards. The aim is to protect the consumer and the economy alike, to facilitate for importers by guiding them for the easiest way to have this certificate, which is in line with technical barriers to trade agreement. Conformity certificates are issued in fields of food, chemical, constructional, mechanical, industrial and electrical industries.
The Institution conducts conformity tests for goods and products upon request by any concerned party. The Institution also tests the conformity of the products to be imported to Palestine. Conformity certificate can be issued for a sample or batch.
