Under the auspices of her Excellency, Mrs. Abeer Odeh; Minister of National Economy/President of PSI; a workshop was held to review the implementation plan for the national quality policy; developed by the inter-ministerial committee chaired by the Ministry of National economy.
The Minister stressed on the importance of the national quality policy for Palestine to enable it to improve the competitiveness of the Palestinian products and increase the exports from Palestine and promised to provide the needed support for implementing it. The plan was developed based on the project of supporting the quality infrastructure funded by the BMZ of Germany, and implemented by the metrology institute PTB.
Representatives from all stakeholders' organizations attended the workshop and validate the plan with some limited recommendation.
